We have the need for our host of a conference to put the conference on hold and make another call outside of the conference. When the host puts the call on hold the participants hear our MOH, the participants have a hard time discussing things or have to talk over the MOH while its playing. Is there an option to turn off the MOH for conferences??

Work Around - if the Host is already on a 3 or more way call (i.e. he/she conferences to another ext or line locally first) before host joins or calls into the conf bridge, then if the host puts a their call on hold to the bridge to make this urgent other call, the other callers on the bridge should NOT hear hosts MOH while they make that other call.

Our workaround was to add a "silence" MOH file. (Downloaded it from another posting here I found through Google) Then we made another user group, that used that file as the MOH. We've assigned that user to that group. They don't get MOH, ever, but their conference calls don't have to listen to our MOH while they wait for her to get other people dialed in.
