limit # of calls in a queue

I'm looking for a way to limit calls in a Q. I have a couple of Qs that get hammered with calls and in turn they use a lot of IVR port resources.
I would like to limit those particular Qs to just 8 calls in Q. Is there a way to put a limit on calls in Q and once that limit is hit send the calls to interflow destination or ring busy?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for the response. One question, if I hit a script right from the IRN how is the system going to know what postion in the Q I am?
I will try it and let you know

Even if I could limit the calls hitting an IRN and use the Route Point to route calls to another destination would be fine.

It works great!!!! The key to me was finding the right spot to add the script. I chose the first announcement in the service to send call to script, set the option for Q postion and when Q size hit > 8 it transfered to destination I assigned. Thanks for the help
