Shoretel Communicator Transfer External Call

when want to transfer incoming call to external call,
i must press minimum 7 digits then only can press 'transfer' button,
if i press 1-6 digits cant press 'transfer' button.

once you use a TAC to transfer the call externally, it depends on if the call type is a local, LD, or Int'l call based on the first digit after the TAC ( US - 1=LD, 011=int'l). If you are dialing a local number then your Trunk-group is configured to expect 7 digits for to completion of the transfer, anything less will not dial the number. If this is an international location and your country has a variable length for local calls then you should contact support to report the issue.
