My Communicator doesn't stay connected....

When I switch my LAN connection from WiFi to wired or from wired to WiFi, my Communicator disconnects and I have to reboot my laptop in order to reconnect Communicator to my Shoretel server. My computer is running Windows 7 (64-bit) and Outlook 2010. Our Shoretel server is on ST13.1.

I've noticed the same thing with my Communicator. We are also on Windows 7, Outlook 2010, and currently on ShoreTel 13.1.

If I wait long enough, Communicator will reconnect with the server eventually. I use my phone more often than I use the Communicator so it doesn't get in the way often. If there is as fix for this though, I would love to hear it.

I have a service request opened with TAC and they are still trying to figure it out.

any updates on this issue? We are experiencing the same issue on windows 7/10 and on 14.1 of shoretel. Users need to reconnect to the client if moving from wired to wifi or vice versa. It doenst seem to automatically connect.

Thanks

Still happening for my users. Mostly windows 10 x64 machines and shoretel client 213.100.2159.0 doesn't stay connected. Perhaps Mitel can figure it out since Shoretel took no interest in fixing this issue.

Try exiting communicator before changing your wired/wireless.
