Inbound Caller ID showing +1 using TAPI client

We are running ShoreTel 13.3. We installed the ShoreTel TAPI client. We then installed a TAPI addon for our call center. The caller ID is appearing in the correct field of the 3rd party call center application, but it contains an unwanted 1 before the 10 digit phone.

If call center agents manually delete the 1, the customer record does pop on the screen. We have 3 different carriers and the behavior is the same on all carriers. All carriers also state they are not sending the 1.

Is there any way for ShoreTel to strip off the unwanted 1 in this scenario?

I know this is a long shot but I'm having the exact same issue and currently waiting on Shoretel TAC for a possible answer. I'm hoping that Shoretel can do some sort of DNIS substitution. Was this issue ever resolved one way or another?
