When attempting to launch agent toolbar getting....
"Local server failed to start. There might be an instance running."

We have uninstalled/rebooted and reinstalled agent toolbar, still get same msg.

Any thoughts?

Are you using the Contact Center Integration with Communicator? If so, close and exit Communicator prior to launching Agent Toolbar. Also, what version of ECC are you running?

Also, check the Windows Task Manger to see if any ShoreTel/ECC processes are running.

FYI to all

Thank you Edna for your suggestions. It actually turned out to be an invalid path on the drive of the new PC they migrated this user to. Regarding the "task manager"....that's what made this so perplexing, task manager showed NO instances of "AgentToolbar.exe" running. Once proper path was introduced, trouble cleared.
