SIP Trunks and Music On Hold

We plan on utilizing SIP trunks for a multi site customer. All inbound calls will come into the data center via SIP Trunks on a single SG220T1. My understanding is that all MoH for this configuration must come from the switch and that I must enable hairpinning along with a media proxy resource for each MoH stream. Can someone confirm this is correct? This seems to be a serious limitation for a somewhat basic function? I'm seriously considering staying with PRI's for this configuration.

Thanks,

Dwayne

File based MoH hairpins and requires sip trunks with media proxies, which drops your sip trunks on a SG220 down to like 24 or something. IF you use a vTrunk switch you can get alot more media proxies.

If you use jack based MoH and the MP3 player is connected to the 220 in which the trunks are on I think it would work without media proxies/hairpin as it did work that way in version 12 before media proxies.
