We should have more choices if it comes to greetings customization. There should be at least three customizable greetings so we could record greetings in case of: vacations, client meetings and holidays.

We've all been asking for this for year and we are ignored! Save your breath.

I agree. Having a vacation greeting you can record and then schedule for the time you are on vacation, automatically switching back to the main greeting after the schedule has expired would be great. We had this on our ancient Nortel system and would expect this to be a core functionality available in a modern cloud based system.

Hi Everyone,

I found a way to do this and have a different greeting for every phone state, (available, in a meeting, out of office, vacation, custom). Just choose that state before entering voicemail. Go through the prompts to record a greeting and that greeting will be used for that state. You can see hear what the greeting is for each state using the Connect Client. Go into settings and choose call routing. Choose an availability state and you will see in the bottom part a line that says "voicemail greeting recorded" if you have a greeting for that state or "No voicemail greeting recorded" if there isn't one. Click on the change button to the right and you can then listen to the recording if there is one. You can also record a greeting here too.

Hope that helps some others.

Rob - your suggestion is not the same thing as have multiple Auto Attendant Holiday and Custom Greeting on a the Auto Attendant options. This enhancement has been requested many times at ShoreTel conferences and Meetings - and so far it have not been implemented.
